The iconic blue bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin has been ever-present at fashionable nights and decadent celebrations since its inception in 1987. Aptly monikered “The World’s Most Famous Gin,” the brand believes that we come into the world with limitless, innate creativity but somehow learn to suppress it rather than embrace it as we go through life. Their answer to this predicament—the Stir Creativity campaign.
The brand has appropriated the definition of art as a form of hope, joy, and manifestation to focus on building strength and unity amidst these unprecedented times. Providing a platform for artists and others around the world to showcase their creative ability, this campaign was inspired by the 21 days of isolation associated with COVID-19. It was a 21-day campaign to share emotions, expressions, and ideas through various art styles using concepts such as 21 strokes, stitches, lines, forms of objects, patterns, etc.
With more than 450 entries that reflect the country’s exceptional talent and creative spirit, the campaign saw participation from well-known artists such as architect Sanjay Puri, designer JJ Valaya, fashion designer Nida Mahmood, architect and artist Martand Khosla, textile designer Valerie Barkowski, and interior designer Shantanu Garg, to name a few.
