The iconic blue bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin has been ever-present at fashionable nights and incomparable celebrations for more than three decades. Aptly monikered ‘The World’s Most Famous Gin,’ the brand believes that we come in to the world with limitless, innate creativity, but somehow learn to suppress it rather than embrace it as we go through life. Their answer to this predicament—the Stir Creativity campaign.
Known for their cocktail innovation workshops, The Artisan Series competition for emerging artists, and partnerships with the likes of Tracey Emin, Thomas Heatherwick and Tom Dixon for the BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Designer Glassware Competition, Bombay Sapphire’s latest collaboration is with India’s dynamic design duo, Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth’s Klove Studio.
‘The Sapphire Supernova’ is a spectacular 10 foot tall installation, compiled using over 120 discarded Bombay Sapphire bottles consumed at various gin festivals last year. Take a look at the 3D drawing of the exhibit (above) exclusively on our website and social media.
Famed for their prowess in the art of glass-blowing, and for incorporating it to the contemporary platform with larger than life 3D installations and chandeliers, Klove Studio also champions sustainable luxury (a foundational pillar of the Bombay Sapphire brand as well). “This partnership with Bombay Sapphire brings forth the concept of luxury accommodating the need for sustainability. The installation integrates creativity and sustainability. It displays our belief in unrestricted expression of creative potential. We look forward to showcasing our exquisite masterpiece,” said Prateek and Gautam.
