It is no surprise that the brands associated with India Design ID delivered innovative furniture, plush fabrics and incomparable accessories once again this year. For those of you who missed out, and even those who want to relive the experience, we’ve curated our highlights from the stunning India Design ID Exhibit this year. Cocoon Fine Rugs
This rug is a stunning product of their collaboration with Ashiesh Shah. Also showcased were a spanking new series of handwoven carpets boasting soft neutrals, earthy tones, easy geometrics, abstracts.
Dwindo
The window furnishings maker strives to change the way one looks at blinds. The inventive Sheer Horizon models, dual fabric cladded range and horizontally sliding panel series for wider windows were among our hot favourites.
GD Goenka School of Fashion and Design
The university has collaborated with Politecnico Di Milano Italy to provide the best of Italian education to Indian students. Their booth curated a few interior schemes envisioned by their students while offering information about their programmes.
Glass Sutra
Founder Reshmi Dey showcased Ashtori, a representation of the eight North-eastern states. The display aimed to find a connection between these regions by experimenting with handblown and woven glass, vernacular textile elements and Ahimsa or peace silk.
Istituto Marangoni
The institution offers various fashion, interior and luxury branding programmes with task-driven classes, inspiring talks, workshops and group sessions across campuses in Paris, London, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Florence and Mumbai.
Karpets by RKS
Makers of exquisite handwoven and hand tufted carpets, the brand exhibited designs from the Sparkle, Heritage, Galaxy and Vintage ranges. Their setup showcased machine made designs imported from Turkey.
Madhuri Bhaduri
The artist’s Manthan exhibit comprised exquisite oil landscapes, furniture painted in acrylics, fibre busts, scrap metal chairs and lights fashioned using recycled materials.
Mandarin
Themed around 14th Century Michelangelo paintings, their plush setup was fashioned using engineered leather furnishings, metal finished wooden furniture, elegant ceiling light fixtures and rich wallpapers.
Marble City
Known for their diverse surface solutions, the group displayed an assortment of natural stone tops with subtle patterns, exotic prints and fluid lines in a wide range of colours.
Master Fireplaces
One couldn’t help but stop and gaze at the gracefully dancing flames nestled within glimmering pebbles in an outdoor gas fireplace. Their offerings also include several indoor Dimplex models and a rectangular crystal LED fire setup.
Mini Living
Promoting the practice of making the maximum use of minimal space, the automobile maker put together a setup with a concept studio space and an activity zone where visitors could create abstract models of their dream living spaces using coloured blocks.
Nilaya Wallcoverings & Royale Play
Their Japanese villa’s walls were coated with their newest launch Nilaya Naturals, a series of chemical-free, sustainable paints. Stealing the show was their wallpaper of the year, Mithun, boasting a tribal pattern in deep red.
Nirmals Furnishings
Their booth showcased five eclectic schemes, each featuring a myriad of daring prints layered within a subtle colour palette. The highlight of the stall was a sophisticated study setup styled using black, white and ochre.
Ottimo presents Aster, Cipriani and Gorlini
The firm’s second booth housed an elaborate dining space from Cipriani, a premium kitchen from Aster Cucine that embodied luxury glam and pure wood doors and windows from Gorlini.
Pearl Academy
Their interactive light installation, titled ‘The Creative Complex,’ is a representation of the imaginative thinking process. This construction depicts the school’s emphasis on collaboration to provide holistic design education.
Preciosa
Known for the innovative experiments and bespoke creations that completely transform spaces, the luxury lighting brand showcased their awe-inspiring Crystal Forest installation crafted using hand-cut crystal glass.
Rezon
The luxury silverware boutique’s exhibit housed a diverse range of products ranging from elegant tableware to decorative trinkets. Some of these include the Art Deco perspective tea set, Divinity collection, Faceted Rose serve ware, Grapevine series, enamelled photo frames, ornate gift boxes and a lot more.
Sangeeta Seth Home
The soft furnishings label’s sepia hued setup oozed luxury and splendour. Their collection which includes bedding, throws, and drapery drew inspiration from traditional Indian styling.
Sternhagen
The German firm showcased their signature ranges of 3D tiles like the triangular Glam series, Bossy for maximalist lovers, a geometric Spark and Hexy range, the gemstone-inspired Diamant modules and the graphical Visua collection.
Three Sixty
Experts in luxury leather furniture and lifestyle products, the brand launched their teal and tan Ocean collection as well as their Martian range comprising centre tables with galvanised aluminium accents.
Vinaayak Homes
The soft furnishings label’s founder Bhawna Gupta believes in staying true to traditional Indian handiwork. Their range of bedding, curtains and ornate wall hangings incorporated crafts like ikat, madhubani, zardozi, kalamkari, brocade and thread work.
Vivaldi Leather
The leather goods maker presented a wide bouquet of leather accessories. Also on display were wall clocks, slender lamps, magazine holders, trays and woven baskets in tan and deep brown shades.
