Baro, a furniture and craft-based concept store, was cofounded by Srila Chatterjee in 2016. Continuing this endeavour, Chatterjee unveiled Baro Market in 2020, with its iconic bazaars focused on craft and affordable art. Subsequently, in 2022, she launched 47-A, a design gallery in the historic village of Khotachi Wadi, Mumbai. Chatterjee has also curated the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in its early years, cofounded blueFROG, and nurtured talents in cinema and set design during her twenty-five-year career at Highlight Films. She is currently the Creative Head for all Baro Market verticals. Designing distinctive interiors for clientele while curating art experiences that are exclusive and exhilarating, she has become a renowned name in the world of art design.
