The director of Food Matters India Pvt Ltd, Gauri Devidayal is a law graduate from University College London and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She embarked upon her hospitality journey in 2008 when she helped set up The Table in Colaba, Mumbai. In 2016, she co-founded Magazine St. Kitchen in Byculla, a culinary hub for guest chef pop-ups and events, intimate dinners, cooking workshops, and more, housed in a restored heritage structure. This space also hosts the bakery brand – Mag St. Bread Co. and the group’s cloud kitchen. Devidayal also hosts a podcast series called “Magazine St. Kitchen presents Speak Greasy with Gauri Devidayal, ” highlighting national and international chefs’ stories, journeys and tales. A renowned personality, she has been recognised in Forbes India’s 120 Leaders of Change, GQ’s 50 Most Influential Young Indians, and BlackBook’s Top 50 Women in Indian Luxury, while also being on the Managing Committee of the National Restaurant Association of India.
