Best of Accents – Highlights from ID Exhibit 2019 (Part 2)

It is no surprise that the brands associated with India Design ID delivered innovative furniture, plush fabrics and incomparable accessories once again this year. For those of you who missed out, and even those who want to relive the experience, we’ve curated our highlights from the stunning India Design ID Exhibit this year. Scroll down to read more about some of the brands and their showcases.

 

Flou
The Italian label, which specialises in luxury boudoirs, exhibited some of their finest offerings of beds, side tables, shelves and trendy mirrors. Amidst a palette of bold jewel tones, the highlight of their impressive display was the chic and cosy Gentleman bed crafted from Nabuk leather.

 

Habios
They had something for children of all ages – a nursery fashioned for working mothers, a transformable nook to accommodate triplets a fantasy bedroom for young princesses.

 

Häfele
This kitchen space pays homage to the brand’s German heritage and folklore, based on the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel. They recreated the Grimm brothers’ stories around their products. These include the Aquasys Light Mirror for Snow White among others.

 

Hästens
A name synonymous with luxury mattresses, the Swedish brand displayed their Continental and the adjustable series along with a cross section of the bed to give an insight into the materials used.

 

Häuser
The firm’s newest launches include a rope and powder coated aluminium Coast collection of outdoor furniture and a vibrant polypropylene indoor fixtures of the Bistro’s range of indoor fixtures.

 

Holz
The New Delhi brand showcased their popular wardrobes that are made using ply and can be equipped with shutters boasting various materials and finishes.

 

HP Inc.
With the future heading towards smart spaces, the technology firm champions expression in design along with functionality. Their display showcased some of their best and latest models devised specially for innovative minds.

 

Interwood – Interwood Plus and Alno
With three decades of experience, the firm showcased two of their popular services. Adjoining a chic walk-in closet boasting a stylish linear form, they also set up a sleek custom kitchen arrangement manufactured by the German company Alno.

 

It’s All About Home
Our gifting partner for ID Honours showcased acacia wood furniture, hexagonal coffee tables, rope seaters, a unique dining set with a wood and metal finish top and a luxe bedroom arrangement.

 

Jaipur Rugs
The award-winning artisanal carpet maker exhibited some of their best collections. Stealing the show was the Anthar rug that combines three styles of artwork from different states.

 

JB Glass
From magnetic seamless doors with invisible frames to fabric mesh sandwiched between glass, the brand showcased an impressive assortment of processed glass finishes and textures.

 

Kalakaari Haath
The Mumbai based label presented different ways in which art can be incorporated in spaces by decorating alcoves using hand drawn illustrations that have been converted to wall prints.

 

Little Nests
Their Beeline pieces fashioned a kid’s sanctuary, which is trendy yet functional. A multipurpose trundle bed was accompanied by modular seaters, honeycomb shelves, a cosy rocker and delightful bug shaped illuminators.

 

Loco Design
The studio’s detail oriented approach is evident in their fixtures composed of leather, veneer, wood and brass, as well as a striking carbon fibre sink.

 

Ottimo – Lualdi Porte & Momenti
The New Delhi based studio’s space showcased premium internal doors from Lualdi, a brand known for creating some of the thinnest partitions, along with a graphic display from Momenti, which curates artworks and translates them into bespoke interiors.

 

Pristine Marketing
The local firm gave a taste of the Belguim wallpaper company Arte’s diverse offerings by showcasing their noteworthy collections like Metal X Signum, Cantala and Linen and brands such as Hunter Douglas.

 

Rational Kitchens by CJ Living
An exclusive partner for Rational Kitchens in India, the New Delhi based brand exhibited minimalistic wardrobes by the Italian brand Armadi. Also showcased were timeless wooden floors alongside the German label’s signature cabinetry — making for a stream-lined and elegant setup.

 

Script
Godrej’s premium furniture label aims to enrich the experience of routine activities in a contemporary urban lifestyle. Their ecosystem of clean lined furniture goes a step beyond the bare functional requirement providing design that is intuitive and memorable.

 

Sihasn
Featuring Kashida embroidery native to the villages around Srinagar, the nascent startup’s Kashmiri collection flaunted vibrant ultramarine tones adorned with intricate floral motifs.

 

The Muse by Rano Singh
The New Delhi based designer styled a space that teeters on the edge of nouveau. Each element plays with lines, tones and textures to create a medley that is classic and yet modern in its appeal.

 

We Decor8
The boutique firm champions nature-oriented living with their green wall creations. Their booth, furnished with moss panels made of air purifying plants that are maintenance free, transported visitors to a wild forest landscape.

 

WeWork
Redefining the way we look at offices, the co-working space provider’s booth was a sample of one of their modules. Their energising setup comprised a simple arrangement of minimal yet comfortable furniture set against a colourful backdrop.
