You can actually eat inventor Carlo Ratti’s newest creation

It's made of chocolate

Eat your way through Carlo Ratti Associati’s latest creation of 30,000 praline bars for the chocolatier, Venchi. An 8-metre long wall of chocolate mosaic will be unveiled at Italy’s cuisine oriented theme park in November, FICO Eataly World.

If you’ve gotten past the wall, step inside little booths where you can taste an array of Venchi chocolates and praline. CRA uses artificial intelligence and a facial recognition software, in association with Milan-based studio Dotdotdot, to figure out your reaction to the varieties of sweets. You’ll find your reaction along with everybody else’s – in the Chocolate Portrait room, a room dedicated to floating photos of delighted faces. If this wasn’t sweet enough, Venchi gives you a hands-on demo of the manufacturing process, where they finally make you your own customized chocolate.

When: 15 November 2017
