Casa 9 by AMPM Designs is a plush yet playful interior project, fashioned for a young couple who are in the business of luxury super-bikes. Completed in the short span of three months, the retrofitting of this 4000 sq ft abode saw a change in spatial composition, whereby a wall was replaced with a slide-fold door panel, opening the television lounge up to the living room. Unique design intricacies such as a murphy bed panelled as a wardrobe in the TV room, a golden-hued metal frame for the grid of mirrors that accentuate the seating arrangement of the living room, and a centre table in metallic hues of blue, green and pink feature in this space. The decor of the master suite and additional bedroom reference the lifestyle of their occupants, showcasing engaging (and contrasting) ensembles of chic sensibilities, vibrant furnishings, abstract art and 3D panelling. The TV room showcases a large projector screen with a great sound system to amplify the home entertainment experience. This area can be used as a guest bedroom as well, by simply bringing down the murphy bed panelled like a wardrobe on the side. All the walls in the living and dining area are framed with gold inserts. The wall behind the seating arrangement is framed with a chunky gold metal frame and portrays mirrors in a beautiful grid. The choice of furniture is cosy, easy to maintain and comfortable. The highlight of the furnishings is the centre table in varying hues of blue, green and pink.
We combined two existing bedrooms to make one large master suite. The suite has two bathrooms, two large walk-in wardrobes, a low lounge day bed with a study and bay window seating to one corner, and the other side houses a comfortable bed, tv and bar set up. A selection of different shades of grey with hints of blue complete this lavishly crafted suite.
While one-bedroom is elegant, sophisticated and poised; the other is fun, young and vibrant. We designed this second room keeping the occupant’s style and personality in mind. His love for shoes gave us a reference point for our design for the wardrobe. A vibrant red bed occupies the main space and is set against a back wall painted in abstract art.
The outdoor terrace has the most stunning view. For this space, we’ve used deep green sofas with black cushions, while the sidewalls feature a concrete 3D panel that adds just the right amount of character.
