Villa U2 by IE Design is a luxurious contemporary abode, defined by a striking wooden spiral staircase amid an elegant composition of clean forms and a neutral colour palette. It is located in one of the finest luxury villa communities in Hyderabad. Spread across three floors with an area of 560 sq m, this villa is the complete culmination of contemporary design with an earthy touch. Cladding and woodwork are used in certain areas to give the space warmth while enhancing its opulence. The villa is a handpicked curation of furniture, materials, textures, colours, fabrics, and décor. Various moods of lighting are created to make the best use of the space. Decorative lighting has been carefully picked to enhance the overall ambience.

Neutral colours like beige, brown, and grey form the primary set, accented by colours like green, blue, purple, and wine throughout the house. The villa is customised to suit the lifestyle of the residents. Every corner of this house—from the entrance to the décor and styling—reflects the personality of the young couple who own it. The materials and colours used in the foyer and formal living area on the ground floor are warm and welcoming. A soothing beige texture did the magic of bringing a lot of warmth and cosiness to the space. The spiral wooden staircase is the highlight of the house and adds character to the space, by breaking the monotony of straight lines. The guest bedroom on the ground floor is the definition of plush.

A statement dining table from Arte Brotto was love at first sight for the client, alongside which the other elements were curated. For our client, who is an art lover and collector, we used their paintings to complement the rest of the space. The living room was the space used by the client for family bonding time. A deep shade of green was used to create a calm and serene vibe and highlight the wall, while the other elements were kept neutral. The informal seating arrangement on the second floor is light and lively, making the space look spacious and airy with a hint of blue and purple. A grand headboard bed with a play of light in the bed panelling along with accent colours completes the luxurious master bedroom design. The daughter’s bedroom was designed following her desires; wallpaper paired with two hanging fixtures give the space a three-dimensional feel. The study nook was curated to cater to the client’s work-from-home office. A wall-to-wall bookshelf was customised with a dark-coloured one to give it a den-like vibe.
