Ravish Vohra

He may be the head of one of India’s preeminent design firms, but Ravish Vohra is still obsessed with the details. “Luxury is in each detail and each detail makes the product” is his design mantra. And a walk through his sprawling flagship store in Gurugram, set up in 2010, is testament to that. The designer loves to use statement pieces— like his signature carved consoles — to liven up his clients’ living spaces.

Roche Bobois

Always one step ahead of the curve, French luxury design house Roche Bobois knows the secret to a revolving door of fresh offerings — creative collaborations with the most exciting talents of our times, from Kenzo Takada to Jean Paul Gaultier. After a successful lauch in New Delhi in 2016, the brand has its sights set on dominating the Tier-2 market as well. Oh, and signing a collaborative deal with an Indian talent that we can’t wait to hear about.

La Sorogeeka

For someone who’s been designing since she was 18, there is no doubt in Anjali Goel’s mind that transforming ideas into furniture and décor is her calling. The company she established has a flair for the opulent, which is arguably one of the driving factors behind her unprecedented success in the UAE, where the well-heeled routinely call on her to reimagine their villas and holiday homes into modern day palaces.

Alsorg

Orderly, detailed, planned. If this describes your personality — and consequently, your wardrobe, you need to acquaint yourself with Alsorg. The leading name in modular kitchens and wardrobes in India, consider them the godfathers of organisation. You can spot their unique designs at The Lalit, New Delhi and the Marriott, Raipur.

Intersekt

No conversation about design firm Intersekt, run by Vidur Arora and Ridhi Arora, can be complete without THAT flagship space, launched in 2017. Four floors high, 30,000 sq ft in area, it’s a space-age showroom that will have you gawking in awe. Inside, your expectations remain high as your peruse their collection of luxurious wall and floor coverings, tiles, bath fittings and more.

Script

Launched by Godrej as their branded furniture vertical, Script announced its arrival on the scene with a 14,000 sq ft space in Bengaluru, offering modern interior solutions to meet the unique needs of consumers. The brand refers to its products not as furniture, but as “intelligent systems designed around people’s new habits and activities.”

Within

There’s a definite air of India-Modern that rules the design language at Within, a design firm led by Sonal and Bobbi Tuli. Warm colours complement plush fabrics, while tastefully chosen lighting solutions tie the whole space together. With their flagship store in New Delhi, the couple seeks to educate and inform their customer, allowing them to completely submit to the ‘Within’ experience.

Diviana

Spearheaded by Kapil Chopra, the brand’s clean yet ornate aesthetic has made it an industry name to reckon with. Signing up with Diviana offers an end-to-end solution: from the architectural design to the fitout, even being able to dream up custom-made furniture for their many discerning clients. Muted tones with metallic accents pepper their collections.
