From breath-taking installations and exclusive product showcases to high profile talks and demonstrations by design greats, it’s going to be design A-Z at the sixth edition of India Design ID 2018 to be held in New Delhi’s sprawling NSIC Grounds. For the uninitiated, here’s what you can expect to find this February 22-25:
A three-day event involving panel discussions, interactive sessions, debates and dialogues centered on design. Expect to find noted architects, design luminaries and creative professionals from India and around the globe, sharing ideas, knowledge and their experiences.
This time, we’re featuring a real-life cyborg, along with other art and design legends. Officially recognized as a cyborg, Neil Harbisson is a contemporary artist and cyborg activist who can hear colours and uses it to create art that no human can. Javier Mariscal, fondly called the Peter Pan of Spanish Design, will also be speaking. Mariscal is a master of multiple disciplines with short films, comics and interior design projects being a part of his extensive work repertoire. You’ll also find Ron Arad, an Israeli architect and designer who fascinates with Bluetooth enabled furniture and other unique designs.
