Known for his experimental style, artist Vibhor Sogani, an alumni of the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad started his own design practice in 1994. He has made a strong mark in the areas of art and light based installations through which he explores diverse materials such as steel, brass, bronze, stone and mixed medias as well. His work has a very modern aesthetic that is appealing to an international cosmopolitan audience. This is also reflected in the materials he uses such as stainless steel. His installations the – “Sprouts” spread across 6 acres in New Delhi has become a landmark and is one of India’s largest and most visible art works. He was also invited by the Prime Minister’s Office to showcase his works at Mahatma Mandir in Gujarat.
